80% year-over-year increase in job postings in July
Job postings in July saw big gains year-over-year in Nipissing.
The Labour Market Group reports 839 job postings that month.
That’s up 80% compared to July last year and nearly 15% month-over-month.
Employer participation grew alongside volume, with 348 unique employers active in the market, a 17.6% increase from June.
Top five employers posting jobs include:
– North Bay Regional Health Centre
– West Nipissing General Hospital
– Ontario Northland
– Nipissing University
– Voyageur Aviation Corp
Health Care & Social Assistance was the top hiring industry with nearly 32% of the job postings.
