Access to North Bay’s hazardous waste depot continues for West Nipissing

West Nipissing is continuing its service agreement with the Household Hazardous Waste Depot in North Bay.

The municipality says the decision was made by council in response to resident feedback.

As a result, the planned Household Hazardous Waste Day in West Nipissing will not take place, and services will remain unchanged.

Officials say West Nipissing residents will continue to have access to the Household Hazardous Waste Depot in North Bay with no drop-off fees.

The site accepts items such as leftover paint, batteries, motor oil, chemicals, and other hazardous materials.

It’s open Wednesday to Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm.
