Additional Funding for Emergency Medical Communications

Vic Fedeli, MPP for Nipissing announced that the Ontario government is investing $1.4 million in additional funding for the North Bay Central Ambulance Communications Centre (CACC). This year’s total investment of $4.9 million will help strengthen legislated ambulance dispatch and paramedic medical oversight.

“Our government recognizes that ambulance communication services provide essential support to the ambulance system as the first point of contact by a person in need of emergency medical services,” said MPP Vic Fedeli. “This new investment will support the North Bay Central Ambulance Communications Centre to innovate and modernize, ensuring they can continue to provide high quality emergency care to the people of Nipissing.”
