ALKINS, Mitchell Ronald

After a tragic accident and a courageous battle, Mitchell passed away at Health Sciences North on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the age of 36.

Mitchell was the beloved son of Ron and Kelly (née Hall) Alkins, and a devoted father to Landon, whom he cherished deeply. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Ryan and Travis (Mel), and missed dearly by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Mitchell had an easy laugh and a warm heart. His sense of humour lit up any room and left those around him with smiles and stories to remember. He believed there was never a bad time to cast a line, head into the bush, or just soak in the fresh air—whether fishing, hunting, or simply enjoying the outdoors.

A Celebration of Mitchell’s Life will be held at the Callander Legion Branch No. 445 (345 Lansdowne Street, Veterans Way) on Saturday, August 16th, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Blood Services or a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
