AMYOTTE, Jean
Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease at the Algonquin Nursing Home (Mattawa) on Wednesday March 18, 2026, at the age of 75 years.
Jean will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Pierre (Rita), Maurice, Berthe (Jean Claude), Denise (late Daniel), Guy (Jocelyne), Clement (Lise), Alice (Michel), Diane (Ron), and Evelyne (late Pierre). Jean is predeceased by his sister Simone (George), and brother Robert (Helene), as well as his parents Lionel Amyotte and Marie Jeanne (nee Bedard) Amyotte.
As per Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving visitors at St. Bernadette Church (Bonfield) on Saturday October 10, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, followed by a burial at St. Bernadette’s Cemetery.

Il s’est éteint paisiblement, entouré de l’amour de sa famille, après une courageuse lutte contre la maladie de Parkinson, au Foyer de soins Algonquin (Mattawa), le mercredi 18 mars 2026, à l’âge de 75 ans.
Jean laisse dans le deuil ses frères et sœurs : Pierre (Rita), Maurice, Berthe (Jean‑Claude), Denise (feu Daniel), Guy (Jocelyne), Clement (Lise), Alice (Michel), Diane (Ron) et Evelyne (feu Pierre). Il est Prédécédé par sa sœur Simone (George), son frère Robert (Helene), ainsi que par ses parents, Lionel Amyotte et Marie Jeanne (née Bedard) Amyotte.
Conformément aux volontés de Jean, la crémation a eu lieu. La famille recevra parents et amis à l’église Sainte‑Bernadette (Bonfield) le samedi 10 octobre 2026, de 9 h à 11 h. Une messe commémorative sera célébrée à 11 h, suivie de l’inhumation au cimetière Sainte‑Bernadette.
