Andrew Perry
Andrew Anthony Perry, beloved husband and father, went into glory on Friday December 12, 2025, at age 75 in North Bay, Ontario, after suffering from Parkinson’s Disease.
Andrew was born in Montreal, Quebec, along with his twin sister Rose, on March 15, 1950 to Gerald and Filomena (De Meo) Perry. After their parents died early, Rose and Andrew moved to Toronto. Andrew began working in the printing industry where he met Christine. They were married in 1977 and had two daughters. They settled in Mississauga for over 10 years and then moved north to Georgetown, Hillsburgh, Fergus and finally North Bay, often moving to be close to family.
Andrew worked for most of his career as a service technician on large prepress equipment. He was knowledgeable about many things, particularly electrical and mechanical. His interests were also wide ranging: he cycled, played the flute, the guitar, was an excellent swimmer, played tennis, and enjoyed chess and birding with his family. To others and to his family, Andrew might most be remembered for his sense of humour. He was also humble in the best way and had a particular gift in connecting with others, especially if they had had a tough life or they were going through something challenging. More than anything, he wanted other people to know how his life had been sweetened by knowing Jesus Christ as his Saviour and Lord.
Andrew is survived by his wife Christine (Howe), daughters Aimee (Craig) Dellandrea and Millicent (John) Cowle, sister Rose (Andy) McClelland, and beloved grandchildren Thomas Cowle, Lauren Dellandrea, Winifred Dellandrea, August Cowle, and Ronin Cowle.
A visitation will be held on Thursday December 18, 2025 from 10am-12pm at Hillside Funeral Services, North Bay, and the funeral will follow at 1pm at Bethel Gospel Chapel, North Bay.
