Ann Sullivan

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the age of 76 years.
Ann was the loving mother to Benjamin Oakes (Lindsey). She will be lovingly remembered by her brother Blair Sullivan (Jennifer), her nieces Meaghan Sullivan (Chris Hurd) and Shannon Beins (Bo) and their families; as well as her dear cousin Hence Orme (Maria) and family. Ann is predeceased by her parents William (Blair) Sullivan and Lillian (nee Orme) Sullivan.
Ann was a cherished teacher at Widdifield Secondary School for over 25 years. In her spare time, she was an active member at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption and an Associate of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie. Ann’s faith was very important to her, through which she built an incredible community and friends.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Abeysinghe and the staff in C1 at the North bay Regional Health Center for their incredible compassion and care provided to Ann and family.
As per Ann’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Saturday October 18, 2025, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pro-Cathedral Building Fund or to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie and would be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
