Brisson, Louis
February 2, 1928 - March 31, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that Louis's family announces his passing in his 97th year at Visions Nursing Home in Sarnia. Louis has gone to join his beloved wife, Grace. Louis was the Father of Lucie and Denis, Grandfather of Shane, and Great-Grandfather of Jack and Nova.
As the patriarch of our extended family, he is survived by his brother Paul (Lucie), and Jacques (Nicole - predeceased). He is predeceased by his parents, Albert and Louise, his twin sisters Yvonne and Simone, sisters Marie and Justine, and brothers Roland, Marcel, and Jean-David.
Louis worked for the North Bay Separate School Board as a custodian for Saint Anne's school for over 30 years, as well as other various construction jobs. He was a bass player for the "Vic Virgilli and the Laurentian Valley Boys" for many decades, a local country band based in North Bay. He also played guitar and the fiddle. His passions were snooker and golf. His greatest joy was playing music with his brothers at family gatherings.
Family will be receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Road, on August 11, 2025, from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am. A celebration of his life will follow immediately afterwards at ST. MARY's R.C. CEMETERY at 132 Golf Club Rd in North Bay.
The family wishes to express deep gratitude to Visions Nursing Home in Sarnia for the dignified and wonderful care that they provided, and also to the wonderful Personal Support Workers in North Bay.
