CARDELLI, Giuseppi “Joe”

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Saturday November 29, 2025, at the age of 88 years.

Joe was the beloved husband of  Diane Sampson and the loving father to Dino Cardelli, and Gina Cardelli. He was the cherished grandfather (Nonno) to Angelina and Dana. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his sister Domenica Alvisi (late Mario). Joe is predeceased by his brother Nino Cardelli (Rosa), as well as his parents Donato Cardelli and Anna (nee Cicci) Cardelli. Joe will be proudly remembered by all his neices, nephews, great neices, great nephews, great great neices, & great great nephew. Joe is predeceased by his niece Anna Cardelli & nephew Jeff Sampson. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends especially Marcello, Angelina, Bill, Donna & Len.

Joe is truly one of a kind. Everyone who came into Joe’s life he had the ability to touch each & everyone's heart in a special way. Joe was a hard working man, loved his home, gardening, especially his flowers, watching a soccer game, spending has much time outside & having a glass of red wine. Joe’s  greatest pleasure was going for a visit to Vic Shoe Repair saying jokes, having a coffee, & of course talking about soccer.

Special thanks to the CassellHolme for everything you have done for Joe. It was amazing to experience the special connections he made with certain people while he was at the CassellHolme. This put the family at ease knowing he was being taken care of.

Joe especially enjoyed all the dogs coming into the CassellHolme for a visit.

As per Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter the Apostle Church (North Bay) on Saturday December 13, 2025, at 11:30 am.

As per the families wishes no flowers & if desired, donations to the Crisis Centre North Bay would be gratefully acknowledged.
