It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Yvonne Carriere (nee Guillemette), memere, tante and mom on Thursday July 24th , 2025 at the age of 90 years, she was surrounded by her loving family.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Rheal Carriere. Survived by her children Suzanne and Albert Edstrom, Judy Carriere (Vic predeceased), Vince and Gisele Carriere, Marc and Donna Carriere, Denis and Diana Carriere, Lil and Guy Cloutier, Viv Frederick and Paullette Simkins (Gary predeceased). Yvonne is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, also survived by her brother Roger Guillemette (Yvonne), sister-in-law Sharon Guillemette (Ron predeceased ).
Yvonne was also predeceased by her parents Raphael and Anna Guillemette and siblings Gerry and Evelyn, Claude and Annette, Gabriel and Cecilia, Eugene and Yvette, Norm, Noella and Louis Poitras, Marie Claire and Mark Bebee, Marie Ange and Eddie Cardinal, Irene and Philip Hotte.
As per her wishes, a celebration of her life will be held at the West Ferris Legion Branch 599 on August 31st from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
The family wish to express a profound gratitude to the Nursing staff on C3 and D3 on her final day at the North Bay Regional Health Center for the care and compassion given to Yvonne while in the hospital.
