Celebrating ‘Centennial Sounds’ in North Bay

100 years of music in North Bay is being celebrated on Sunday.

Centennial Sounds – From Railway Sounds to Rock and Roll includes live performances, video tributes and what officials say is a musical journey through the sounds that shaped our community.

It takes place on Sunday from 1-5 pm at the Capitol Centre.

– Dot Beaucage and Brenda Roberts
– North Bay Pipes and Drums
– The House Band – Don & Friends
– Don Gibbings, Don Brose, Don Delorme & Leo Miller Delorme
– Bill Vrebosch, Jake Thomas, Paul Pruneau
– The North Bay Symphony Orchestra (video)
– Allison Denome with the NPSC Intermediate Band and alumni students
– SJSH Marching Band (video)

50/50 Draw Performances:

– The Jesse Thomas Band, J. Houston Band
– Cory Marks (video), Gravitas, Brian Duffy (video)
– Coveralls, Birds of a Feather

Intermission Entertainment:
– Lynn Blunt (Front of House Entertainment)

All proceeds from the event will go to Low Income People Involvement of Nipissing (LIPI) to support children and youth participation in music and arts programs.

Tickets are $20 and are available on the Capitol Centre website or at the box office.
