CGB North Bay Encourages Community to Keep the Momentum Going
Clean Green Beautiful North Bay is heading into a busy September with several opportunities for residents to get involved, connect with the community, and help keep North Bay clean, green and beautiful.
Fall Community-Wide Cleanup, September 18-20 Clean Green Beautiful North Bay is inviting residents, families, businesses and community groups across North Bay to participate in the Fall Community-Wide Cleanup, taking place throughout the city from September 18-20.
Participants can choose an area in their neighbourhood or elsewhere in the community that could use some attention and help remove litter. Cleanup bags are available through Clean Green Beautiful North Bay. “North Bay is looking cleaner than ever, and that is thanks to the people who continue to take pride in our community.
Every person who picks up a bag and spends even a little time cleaning their neighbourhood makes a difference. We want to keep that momentum going this fall.” - Hariett Madigan, founder of Clean Green Beautiful North Bay Welcome to North Bay, September 13 Clean Green Beautiful North Bay will also be participating in Welcome to North Bay on Sunday, September 13, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by the Clean Green Beautiful North Bay booth, learn more about the organization’s programs and initiatives, and take part in a green-themed activity. Fall Fair Fest, September 19
The organization will also be attending Fall Fair Fest at the North Bay Farmers’ Market on September 19. The event provides another opportunity for residents to connect with Clean Green Beautiful North Bay and learn how they can participate in local environmental and beautification initiatives.
