Christopher Patric Geggie
Christopher Patric Geggie Age 65 of North Bay passed away peacefully at North Bay Regional Health Centre on January 23, 2025 at 5:55pm. He was born on August 10th, 1959 in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.
His parents (Predeceased) are Rhoda Geggie (Nee Thomson) and William Geggie of Georgetown, Ontario. Christopher is predeceased by his brother Eric and wife Barbara. Christopher attended Limehouse School in Halton Hills and Stewarttown School in Halton Hills. Christopher graduated from Acton High School.
In his early years, he worked at the Dominion Seed House as a Horticulturist and worked at as a male personal support worker. He then moved to North Bay, Ontario where he worked as a landscaper, drywaller and painter. It is there where he met the love of his life, Rose (Nee Rogers) Chris loved gardening, BBQing, and painting landscapes. He also loved fishing, golfing, and curling. Above all, Chris was a people person, and his cup was filled by helping others. He loved spending time with his family and often would like to go on road trips. He retired at the age of 50 due to illness.
He is survived by his loving wife Rose Geggie (Nee Rogers), his daughters Krista Boissoneault (Nee Geggie) and Jay Jacob (Son-in-Law), April Geggie and his five grandchildren, Chloe Ayles, Sandy-Rose Borden, Tyson Dokis, Hailey Dokis, and Jaquavis Christopher Geggie. He was loved by all his family and friends.
Please join us for his Funeral service which will be held on August 10th 2025 at St.Brice’s Church at 1225 Cassels Street at 2:00pm-5:00pm. Reverend Dr.Peter Armstrong will be officiating the service.
Celebration of life to follow in the hall at St.Brice’s. Refreshments and food will be served.
