CIBC Run for the Cure raises more than $90,000

More than $90,00 was raised in Sunday’s CIBC Run for the Cure in North Bay, supporting those affected by breast cancer.

Country 90.5 CFCH’s Kevin Oschefski was the Determination Award winner as the top fundraiser.

Team awards go to the Warriors of Hope, Frannie’s Fighters and Nipissing Paramedic Services.

Nationally, the event raised $18 million with more than 65,000 participants and volunteers taking part in events in over 50 communities across the country.

Funds raised support research, clinical trials, advocacy and compassionate support programs.
