East Ferris resident facing attempted murder charge
A 59-year-old East Ferris resident faces a dozen charges included attempted murder after an OPP investigation involving intimate partner violence.
Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called just after midnight on Friday, June 12, to reports of an assault.
They say one person was taken to hospital with serious injuries while another person fled in a vehicle.

Police say that vehicle crashed into another one that wasn’t moving and the person was taken into custody.
Other charges include three assault-related counts, break and enter, impaired driving and more.
The OPP says the accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay at a later date.
