Environment Canada says cooler airmass to bring relief from the heat

Relief from the heat is in sight.
A heat warning continues with Environment Canada saying we can expect daytime highs of 28 to 31 degrees Celsius and a humidex of 33 to 38.
But the weather agency says a cooler airmass is expected to arrive Wednesday night bringing an end to the heat event.
In the meantime, the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit says heat and humidity can cause serious health conditions like heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
Officials say on days like today, stay hydrated and avoid unnecessary work outside.
They also say never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle.
