Five of the City's outdoor ice rinks
Great news - five of the City's outdoor ice rinks are officially open!
Greenhill Playground Rink, Kinette Playground Rink, Birchaven (Sage) Park Rink, Veronica Park Rink, and Police Playground Park Rink are open and in fair condition.
For now, the hockey nets will remain locked up, to prevent them from melting through the ice when the sun hits them.
As conditions become more favourable and staff is able to create a better base of ice, nets will be available.
