Gateway of the North versus the capital of New Brunswick
North Bay is up against Fredericton, New Brunswick, in the upcoming Communities in Bloom competition.
The judges arrive next week (July 22-24) to evaluate the city in the national population category.
Our community will be rated from 1 to 5 Blooms, while also aiming to receive bronze, silver or gold levels in their 5-bloom rating.
National and International results will be announced in Stratford this fall (Oct. 16-18), during the National Symposium and Awards Ceremonies.
Communities in Bloom says a multi-tiered competitive evaluation process is used to foster community strength, involvement, and continuous improvement.
