Gloria Gwendolyn Fraser (née Henderson)
In Loving Memory.
Our beloved mom, Gloria Gwendolyn Fraser (née Henderson), passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, memories, adventures, and countless people whose lives she touched.
Gloria was born on May 20, 1940, in Okotoks, Alberta, the youngest child and only daughter of David Henderson and Martha May Belle Henderson. She spent most of her growing years in Burnaby, British Columbia, where her early years helped shape the strong, independent woman she would become.
She was incredibly proud of her family. Being a mother was one of the great joys of her life, and watching her family grow to include grandchildren and a great-granddaughter brought her immense happiness. She was always proud of her children and loved seeing the people they became.
She also loved to travel and see the world. Her independent spirit and curiosity took her on many adventures, creating stories and memories that will stay with us. She embraced life and experienced it in her own way.
Mom will be lovingly remembered by her children: James David Fraser; Marilyn Jean Fraser and her husband, Brian; Paul Campbell Fraser and his wife, Lisa; and Christine-Ann Fraser Warman.
She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren: Alexander James Drohobycky, Abigail Gloria Katherine Warman, Brendan Fraser, and Parker Edward Campbell Warman, and her great-granddaughter, Iris Amanda Younger Fraser. She was predeceased by her beloved grandson, Graham Lloyd Francis Fraser.
Service will be held at McGuinty Funeral Home in North Bay, Ontario on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. A celebration of her life will continue at the family home following the service. If desired, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated by her family. We love you, Mom. We will miss you. More than words can say, and we will carry you with us always.
