Green Shirt Day and the NoahStrong Connection
Toby and Bernadine Boulet to Visit to North Bay
Our community will be honoured to welcome Toby and Bernadine Boulet, parents of the late Logan Boulet as they visit the North Bay, March 24-27th 2026, to share a powerful message of hope, compassion, and the life-saving impact of organ donation.
Green Shirt Day (April 7th) was created in honour of Logan Boulet, whose selfless decision to become an organ donor saved six lives and inspired a national movement encouraging Canadians to talk with their families about organ donation. Since its inception, Green Shirt Day has become a symbol of generosity, awareness, and the profound difference one person can make. Green Shirt Day was created in response to the organ donation movement that followed the Humboldt Broncos bus crash and the powerful impact of Logan Boulet.

To honor Logan , Tobe and Bernadine Boulet helped launch Green Shirt Day. Their visit holds deep meaning for the NoahStrong community. Like Logan, Noah Dugas left behind a legacy far greater than his years, one rooted in strength, kindness, leadership, and the ability to bring people together. NoahStrong was created to honour Noah’s life and to continue his message of resilience, connection, and caring for others.
The shared values between Green Shirt Day and NoahStrong highlight the importance of family conversations, community support, and turning loss into lasting purpose.
On Wednesday March 25th, the Boulet’s will participate in a meet-and-greet with local media, held at 176 Lakeshore Drive, suite 8, offering attendees the opportunity for personal connection and conversation, before they begin their engagements with local high school students to share Logan’s story and inspire meaningful dialogue about organ donation. That same evening, NoahStrong will host a powerful community conversation on the Gift of Life , featuring the Boulet and Dugas Families and Organ Donor Recipients at 7:00 p.m. at the Nipissing University Student Centre (NUSU). Doors open at 6pm. Stories shared during this moving and meaningful evening, will highlight the profound impact of organ donation, and invite attendees to consider how one conversation can change and even save lives.
Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend this important gathering of hope, reflection, and awareness. Admission is free and open to the public, offering a rare opportunity to hear firsthand how one family’s decision inspired a national movement and continues to make a lasting difference. Their message aligns closely with NoahStrong’s platform on organ donation; to inspire hope, foster meaningful dialogue, and encourage acts of kindness that ripple far beyond one individual.
This visit promises to be a moving and meaningful opportunity for the community to come together, reflect, and honour the legacies of both Logan Boulet and Noah Dugas ; two young men whose lives continue to inspire change, awareness, and light.
