Hyatt Studios hotel coming to North Bay

A new hotel is coming to the city’s west end.

Eastview Development Limited has announced plans to bring a Hyatt Studios location to North Bay.

Officials say the 98-room, upper midscale extended-stay hotel will be built at the corner of Gormanville Road and Eloy Road.

It will offer studio apartment-style suites with kitchens, lounge areas and flexible workspaces, that officials say are ideal for business travelers, project-based workers, and visitors staying a little longer in the area.

“This is a really exciting project for us and for the city,” says John Lechlitner with Eastview Development. “There’s been a clear need for more extended-stay options in North Bay, and bringing Hyatt Studios here helps fill that gap. We believe this will be a great fit for the community and for visitors coming to the region.”

He says the project reflects continued growth in North Bay and a rising demand for quality accommodations that cater to both short- and long-term guests.

Amenities will include:

· 24/7 Market
· Free Grab ‘n’ Go Breakfast
· Complimentary high-speed internet
· EV charging stations
· 24/7 Fitness Studio
· Self-service laundry
· Outdoor patio with firepit and grill

Further details, including construction timelines, are expected to be shared in the near future.
