Kathleen White

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at Eastholme-Home for the Aged-on Wednesday July 23, 2025, at the age of 95 years.

Kathleen was the beloved wife of the late Clifford White for 44 years. She was born on December 5, 1929, to her parents Edward and Rose Sheppard (deceased) at Dokis Bay, ON.

She is survived by her stepsons Dale, Randy (Linda), her grandchildren Craig and Shannon and great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Carter. She is also survived by her sisters Irene, Edna, Evelyn and her brother Raymond. She is predeceased by her sisters Alma, Shirley, Virginia, Diana, and her brothers Gerald and Allan. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen worked in admin for 27 years for Cochrane Dunlop Hardware, and then Emco Supply for 11 years. She was an avid hockey fan, season ticket holder for the North Bay Trappers, Skyhawks, Centennials and the Battalion.

In her younger years she enjoyed curling, snow shoeing, as well as gardening and traveling the world with close friends. Kathleen’s family would like to thank the staff on 3-North at Eastholme LTC, especially Amanda,

Kathleen’s favourite, for the exceptional care given.  The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Wednesday July 30, 2025, between the hours of 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 1:pm in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Food Bank would be gratefully acknowledged by Kathleen’s family.
