Lloyd Odorizzi

December 25, 1928 ~ June 26, 2025
On June 26th, Lloyd was peacefully called home to our Lord. As a young man, Lloyd proudly volunteered to serve in the Korean War, returning home safely to begin his family. Over the years, that family grew as he became a Father, a Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather.
Lloyd worked hard in the lumber industry until his retirement, but he always made time to enjoy the outdoors with his loved ones. Springtime each year found him in the sugar bush making maple syrup, while the summer months provided ample time to nurture his bountiful gardens.
A lifelong outdoorsman, Lloyd made annual trips to the hunt camp each fall, a cherished family event that continued well into his senior years. He was also a skilled fisherman, whether on the water or the ice, he had no problem hooking a big one.
When not in the bush, on the lake, or in the garden, Lloyd could often be found enjoying a game of cribbage or watching his favorite classic westerns. Blessed with good health into his 97th summer, Lloyd continued to have the freedom of independence to enjoy the sunshine and visitors at the family cottage.
Now, with a life well-lived and a legacy of family and the great outdoors, he steps into his final journey. As his favorite singer Hank Snow would say,
“I’m movin’ on”
