Lynett, Mark
(19 September 1956 - 06 June 2025)
It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the passing of our cherished Gaga in his favorite place, at home surrounded by loved ones. Mark was the beloved husband of 40 years to Diane (nee Martin). Proud father to Marlee and Markus (Danika) and cherished best friend to his granddaughter Lilly Rose Lynett, who adored her Gaga.
Predeceased by his mother and father Shirley and Gerry Lynett, twin sister Marsha Johnson, brother Alan Lynett (Vicky-surviving) as well as his infant grandson Michael Paul Lynett. He will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews and cousins. His best buddies Greg Letts, Gary Anderson and Jon Jeffrey.
Mark was a great storyteller. He loved everyone. He lived his life to the fullest. He was born to drive. He loved being a truck driver and worked many years with Bakkes Trucking and Bruman Aggregates. He also loved riding his Harley and looked forward to his yearly biking trip with his buddies.
Many thanks to family and friends for their support and love during these very difficult times. As well to Dr. Wallace and VON nurses Lori, Jay, Chuck. To my sister Debbie and my angels Lorraine, Yvonne, Marilyn, Wendy and the staff at the Cancer Centre in Sudbury who took wonderful care of Mark. He left us much too soon and he will forever be in our hearts.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES. A funeral mass will be held at St Peter the Apostle Church, 299 Airport Rd., North Bay on Saturday July 5 at 10 am. You will always be with us Gaga.
