Margaret Fortin

 July 2, 1943 ~ May 3, 2025

 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Margaret Fortin (nee Craik).  She passed away with courage and dignity on the date of her choosing after a long battle with cancer. 

 She will be forever missed by her daughters Nicole (Stephen) and Claire (David), brother Ian  (Alice), grandchildren Meagan (Rene) and Matthew (Darcy) two great grandchildren Rylen and Luca.  Predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years Ron, her parents Mary and Matthew Craik, and her brother Sid (Brenda).

 Margaret enjoyed travelling, crafting, gardening, and spending time with family, friends and her precious Tippy.

 The family wishes to thank the “other daughter” Nicole (Ken), Dr. Abeysinghe and his staff, Dr. Gauthier and the compassionate team of the MAID organization and the many friends that supported her throughout the years.  Donations in Marg’s name can be made to any local charity of your choice.

 As per her wishes there will be no visitation or service.
