Mary Jane Geauvreau

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at the age of 79 years.

Mary Jane was the beloved wife of Francis Geauvreau and the loving mother to Lisa Toner (David). She was the cherished grandmother to Jordan (Lizzy), Julianne (Jamie), Gabrielle (Rahul), Brigitte, Emma, Ethan, and great-grandmother to Ayden, Ryker, and Ryley. She was the loving sister to Mark Tait and Jack Coulas (Joan), late Armand Tait (late Harriet), late Lawrence Tait, and the late Sandra Labrecque. Mary Jane is predeceased by her parents Mark Tait and Florence (nee Leclaire) Tait.

Jane was the matriarch of her family, and her love and guidance will be greatly missed by all. Special thanks to Drs’ Graham and Shulman, Nurses Respiratory Techs in Emergency and ICU departments especially Mackenzie in ICU for her care and compassion to Mary Jane and her family and Carol Miller her lifelong friend for friendship and support to all of us.

As per Mary Jane’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
