Mattawa Voyageur Days lineup starting to come together
Mattawa Voyageur Days is coming back in July 2026.
It’ll be the 27th festival.
A few details on the lineup were announced on the weekend on social media.
Friday night’s rock concerts include Red Deer, Alberta’s Ten02.
Tribute bands to Alabama, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica are lined up for Sunday.
Tickets are now on sale, with early bird pricing until Jan. 1.
Free daytime activities will also be returning.
Last week, Mattawa council approved a budget of $460,000 for the festival.
That’s down $40,000 from last year.
A report to council says while expenses were underbudget, revenues were much lower than expected.
Officials say this year’s ticket sales are budgeted at 2,500 to reflect attendance numbers from the last two years, resulting in the reduced budget.
