NBPS Seizes $23K in Fentanyl, GTA Woman Arrested on Outstanding Warrant
The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) Street Crime Unit (SCU) has arrested a woman from the Greater Toronto Area on an outstanding warrant and seized more than $23,000 worth of fentanyl and Percocet pills.

On February 24, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the accused was located in the area of High Street and Olive Street and was known to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. During a subsequent search, NBPS SCU located a quantity of fentanyl believed to be intended for the purpose of trafficking, along with Percocet pills. The accused was arrested without incident.
Subsequent search led to the seizure of the following items:
- Controlled substances with an estimated street value of over $23,000, including:
- 118 grams Fentanyl
- 25 Percocet pills
The accused, Jenelle Lynn McEachern, 24-year-old, female, of Etobicoke, Ontario, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)
- Possession of a Schedule I substance (Percocet)
“Our Street Crime Unit continues to do outstanding work targeting the flow of illicit drugs into North Bay. We are continually seeing supply originate from the Greater Toronto Area, and in this case, officers were able to locate a wanted individual and seize drugs that were intended for distribution in our community,” says Insp. McFarlane. “This proactive enforcement makes a significant difference.”
The accused was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
