New outdoor classroom opens at Nipissing
Nipissing University has a new outdoor classroom.
An official grand opening was held Monday afternoon.
Designed as a four-season classroom and gathering space, officials say it will enrich learning, foster connection, and create new opportunities for engagement with the land and one another for generations to come.
The circular, mostly covered structure is located among the trees on the east side of Monastery Road, near the NUSU Student Centre.
