A North Bay woman has been charged after the OPP says police were provided false information in connection with an ongoing death investigation in Moose Factory, Moose Cree First Nation.
Police believe 21-year-old Loni Chum was struck by a pickup truck last November 2023.
She was taken to hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.

On Sept. 4, a 41-year-old resident of North Bay was arrested and charged with public mischief.
The accused was released with an October court appearance in Moosonee.
OPP and Nishnawbe Aski Police say a $100,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Chum.
