Northern Heights to open later this year
Sienna Senior Living says the new Northern Heights community on the former St Joseph’s hospital site is only months away from opening.
The company’s latest earnings report says the 160-bed long-term care home is slated to open in the third quarter.
Premier Doug Ford was on hand when the 80-million dollar project was announced in July 2021.
The new building is replacing Waters Edge in West Ferris.
Twelve new beds are being created while 148 beds are being redeveloped in the new facility on Bloem Street.
Last summer, officials projected the new, modern home would open this spring.
