Ontario Municipal Partnership funding on the rise
The province is increasing Ontario Municipal Partnership Funding to Nipissing.
MPP Vic Fedeli announced $21 million for eleven municipalities in 2026, up from $18.5 million this year.
The funding supports small, northern, and rural communities with the delivery of critical services, including libraries, emergency services, public transportation, and road maintenance.
“Under the leadership of Premier Ford, our government is protecting Ontario and Nipissing by ensuring municipalities have the tools they need to continue delivering critical local services to people and families in our area,” says Fedeli. “Today’s increased investment through the Ontario Municipal Partnership Funding will provide the finances to target needed projects in each community.
