Two motorists, including one from North Bay, are facing stunt driving charges after separate traffic stops on Saturday afternoon.

Ontario Provincial Police say the incidents happened less an hour apart on Highway 17 in Bonfield.

The OPP says the first vehicle was travelling 142 km/hr in a 90 km zone while the other vehicle was travelling at 141 km/h in a 90 km zone.

Both vehicles were impounded for 14-days with both driver’s licences suspended for 30-days.

They’re both scheduled to appear in provincial offences court in North Bay on a later date.

The North Bay OPP reminds all motorists that excessive speed and aggressive driving behaviours put everyone at risk and will be met with strict enforcement.
