The city says Pumphouse Playground, by the North Bay Drinking Water Treatment Plant on Lakeside Drive, will be temporarily closed for the next week.

Officials say geotechnical site investigations are being done in the area.

They say the work involves testing ground conditions to support engineering and construction planning for potential future improvements at the treatment plant.
