Raymond Villeneuve

Raymond passed away peacefully at Algonquin Nursing Home on July 3, 2025 at the age of 89 with family by his side. 

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Martha (née Boissonneault), his parents Joseph and Betty, his brother Arnold and his in-laws André and Loretta Boissonneault. He was a loving father to Randy (Cari-Lynn) and Derek (Roxane), proud grandfather to Lyle (Andrea), Kristie (Dean Brown), Daniel (Chrissy) and Kelsey (Matthew Jodouin) as well as to 7 great grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by Martha’s family:   Rachel (late), Colleen, Sylvia, Priscilla (Chris) Andy (Joan), Ivan (late Sue), Diane and many nieces, nephews and friends.

We would like to thank Dr Redhead, the nurses, staff and volunteers at the Algonquin Nursing Home, the Mattawa Hospital and all others who assisted with the care and compassion that Raymond received.

As per Raymond’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside ceremony will be held at Ste Anne’s cemetery in Mattawa on August 8, 2025 at 11am.  Celebration of Life to follow at the Legion
