Sidewalk Construction Starting-on Wallace Road

Construction of new sidewalks on a section of Wallace Road is now underway as part of a larger infrastructure project aimed at improving pedestrian safety and enhancing stormwater management in the area.

The work on Wallace Road includes the stretch between Lake Heights and Commerce Crescent. This is part of a broader project that began this spring on Commerce Crescent, between Wallace Road and Seymour Street, which also includes new sidewalks, curbs, storm sewers, drainage ditches, and other related infrastructure upgrades.

One lane of traffic will remain open throughout the project, and access to homes and businesses within the construction zones will be maintained. Work on Wallace Road is expected to be completed by early September, with the overall project wrapping up by mid-November.
