City removing snow from downtown area streets
Snow removal started this week in downtown North Bay, beginning with Main Street West.

The city says crews are clearing one block at a time, and once Main Street is complete, work will move to Algonquin Avenue, between Cassells and Oak, Oak Street, Fraser Street, Ferguson Street, Wyld Street, and Sherbrooke Street.
Road closures will be in place between 6 am and 10 am.
“Crews will adjust throughout the day to focus on quieter areas and help minimize disruption,” says Gord Young, Communication Officer. “Thank you for your patience as we work to safely clear these streets.”
He says the work is expected to continue over the next couple of weeks, depending on weather.
