Social and human service deliverers meeting in North Bay
Emerging trends and northern challenges in social and human services are up for discussion in North Bay this week.
The Northern Ontario Service Deliverers Association annual general meeting is being held at the Best Western, Tuesday through Thursday.
Officials say they’ll be working to strengthen collaboration, address shared challenges, and advance human services delivery in the North.

“From housing and homelessness to workforce pressures and service delivery across vast geographic regions, Northern Ontario requires solutions built for the realities of the North, and our NOSDA collaboration is how we move that work forward,” says Timmins Mayor Michelle Boileau, NOSDA Board Chair.
The conference will feature keynote speakers and guest presentations from leaders across government, housing, human services, and community development sectors.
Sessions will include member-led discussions and presentations focused on collaboration, innovation, and advocacy.
The District of Nipissing Social Services Administration Board and the District of Parry Sound Social Services Administration Board are co-hosting the AGM at the Best Western in North Bay.
