Stolen snowmachine leads to charges for West Nipissing resident

By Richard Coffin

A stop by an OPP snowmobile patrol has resulted in a 26-year-old West Nipissing resident being charged with possession of property obtained by crime.

Just before 2 pm on Sunday, Ontario Provincial Police with the Nipissing West detachment stopped a snowmachine on a trail between Sturgeon Falls and River Valley.
The OPP says the snowmachine was stolen property.

Police say the rider was charged and later released with an early February court appearance in North Bay.
