Sylvain Lamarche

Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday June 16, 2025, at the age of 63 years.

Sylvain was the loving father to Stephanie Lamarche (Jesse), Patrick Lamarche (Kristiana), and Brooklyn Renaud. He was the cherished grandfather to Ethan, Abigail and Charlotte. He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Robert Lamarche (Lorraine), Ron Lamarche (Eliane), Richard Lamarche (Suzanne), Vivian Gagne (Raymond), and Suzanne Landry (Robert). Sylvain is predeceased by his son Brett Renaud, as well as his parents Lucien Lamarche, and Irene Gauthier.

As per Sylvain’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday July 5, 2025, between the hours of 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm in the McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel. 

If desired, donations to the Canadian Lung Association, or the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.

The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Nelson and the nursing staff at NBRHC on B3 for their compassionate care to Dad during his final days.
