TARDIF, Irene

1944–2026

 It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her sudden passing on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Eastholme Home for the Aged. Irene was in her 82nd year.

Irene was the devoted wife of 54 years to André. Proud mother to Marc (Alison) and Stefan (Bonnie). Grandmother to Christina Squire (Sudbury), Katelyn Tardif (Red Deer, Alberta) and Nicholas Tardif (Trenton, Ontario).

She is survived by her sister, Noella Gregory (Richmond, British Columbia). Irene was predeceased by her parents, Noël and Délia Lafleur, and by her brothers, Albert (Elizabeth), Roger (Alice) and Ernest (Marie-Jeanne).

The family thanks the great service given to Irene by Eastholme and their personnel.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Donations in her memory can be made to the North Bay Regional Health Centre’s Mental Health Services.

C’est avec immense tristesse que la famille Tardif annonce le décès soudain, de Mme Irene Tardif, survenu le mercredi 7 octobre 2026, au foyer pour personnes âgées Eastholme. Irene était âgée de  82 ans.

Irene était l’épouse dévouée d’André depuis 54 ans. Elle était la fière maman de Marc (Alison) et de Stefan (Bonnie), ainsi que la grand-maman de Christina Squire (Sudbury), Katelyn Tardif (Red Deer, Alberta) et de Nicholas Tardif (Trenton, Ontario).

Elle laisse dans le deuil sa sœur, Noella Gregory (Richmond, Colombie-Britannique). Irene fut précédée par ses parents, Noël et Délia Lafleur, ainsi que par ses frères, Albert (Elizabeth), Roger (Alice) et Ernest (Marie-Jeanne).

La famille remercie le service de la maison Eastholme et leur personnel du bon service accordé à Irene.

Conformément à sa volonté, il n’y aura ni visite et ni service funéraire. Au lieu de fleurs en sa mémoire peuvent être faits aux services de santé mentale du Centre régional de santé de North Bay.
