Threats Against North Bay Police Service

Charges Laid
The North Bay Police Service has arrested and charged a local man in connection with threats made against members of the Service.
On July 8, 2025, the North Bay Police Service received a complaint regarding threatening comments directed at members of the police service. An investigation determined that the accused had made threats against both individual officers and the police facility. The accused was identified and subsequently arrested. At the time of his arrest, he was found to be in possession of stolen property from a local business.
Aaron Desrochers, 32, of North Bay, has been charged with the following offences:
- Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm
- Uttering Threats – Damage to Property
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Desrochers has been charged and held for a bail hearing.
