Three charities benefiting from McHappy Day

By Richard Coffin

It’s McHappy Day (Wednesday, May 6) and three charitable groups are benefiting in our area.

A portion of sales at McDonald’s restaurants in North Bay and Sturgeon Falls supports Youth Mental Health at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, One Kids Place, and Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The hospital foundation says more than $35,000 was raised locally last year.
