Toronto Man Arrested and Drugs Seized After Traffic Stop

The North Bay Police Service (NBPS) has arrested a Toronto man, found in breach of release and probation orders; multiple drugs, knives, and counterfeit currency recovered.
On October 13, 2025, at approximately 2:20 a.m., NBPS conducted a traffic stop of an electric bicycle on a sidewalk in the McIntyre Street East area. The individual was found to be in breach of prior release orders issued on January 7, 2025, and a probation order issued July 2, 2025. The suspect attempted to evade police but was arrested following a brief pursuit. During the arrest, officers seized a large quantity of drugs and a folding knife. At NBPS headquarters, a further search revealed additional drugs, a second folding knife, counterfeit currency, and additional funds.
The accused in this incident is Nathaniel Elliott, 27-year-old, male, of Toronto, who is charged with:
- Four Counts of Possession for the Purposes of Trafficking Schedule I Substance (Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine, Crystal Methamphetamine, Oxycodone)
- Possession of Property of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
- Possession of Counterfeit Money
- Two Counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The searches resulted in the seizure of the following Schedule I Substances:
- 17.9 grams of fentanyl
- 8.6 grams of crack cocaine
- 7.7 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- 7 oxycodone pills
"Thanks to the quick actions and keen observations of our patrol members, the accused was apprehended and harmful drugs were kept from reaching our community," said Inspector McFarlane, North Bay Police Service. "This is an example of the dedication and vigilance by our members that greatly contributes to the safety of our community."
The accused was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
