Two Week Closure of Section of Lakeshore Drive

Please be advised of upcoming roadwork near Lakeshore Drive and Booth Road in support of the new Community and Recreation Centre. The work includes infrastructure upgrades and intersection signalization.

From July 7 to 21, Lakeshore Drive will be closed in this area to allow for sanitary and stormwater connections. A detour will be in place via Ferris Drive and Booth Road. Access to the construction zone will be restricted. Drivers should expect delays and follow posted detour signs.

Additionally, beginning July 1 and continuing until Nov. 30, there will be intermittent lane closures at the Lakeshore and Booth intersection during weekday work hours. This work includes traffic signal installation and underground improvements. A flagger will be on-site to assist with traffic flow, and at least one lane will remain open at all times.
