(Update) Collision in Powassan closes Highway 11
(7:30 am) Ontario Provincial Police say Highway 11 is closed in both directions between South River and Powassan.
The OPP says it’s because of poor driving conditions and several collisions.
They say injuries are being assessed and tow trucks are removing damaged transport trucks.
Police say drivers can expect a prolonged closure during the investigation and clean-up effort.
