(UPDATE) - Heavy Police presence on Lavigne Road cleared around 5 am

There are only a few details, but an investigation overnight led to the North Bay OPP advising the public of a heavy police presence around Lavigne Road in East Ferris.

Police say the area was cleared around 5 am Friday.

For several hours overnight they were asking people to avoid the area.
