UPDATED: Police seek public help in Brampton fatal shooting investigation
Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau of Peel Regional Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man considered armed and dangerous after a fatal shooting.
On Monday, Oct. 21, 2025, at approximately 1:54 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in a plaza parking lot near Airport Road and Queen Street in Brampton.
Upon arrival they found a woman suffering apparent gun-shot wounds. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The suspect is believed to have fled in a black 2024 Nissan Kicks bearing Quebec licence plate FRV4520. His one-year-old daughter was in the back seat of the vehicle but was later located by police and is in good health.
The man remains outstanding and is described as a white male, 5 ft. 9 in. tall, 175 lbs., thin build, short brown hair, hazel eyes, clean-shaven. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured hoodie, blue jeans and carrying a black cross-body bag.
He is considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public are urged not to approach him or the vehicle. If seen, call 9-1-1 immediately.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dash-cam or surveillance footage, or any information, to contact the Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau at 905-453-2121 ext. 3205.
