Voter Information Letters in the mail
North Bay residents can expect their voter information letters to arrive soon.
The city says the letters are in the mail.
Once you get it, you’re encouraged to keep it in a safe place with officials saying it includes information needed to vote online, including a unique, one-time-use Voting PIN and the website address for casting a ballot.
Voting opens at 10 am on Oct. 15 and continues until 8 pm on Oct. 26. Residents can vote online using a computer, tablet or smartphone and do not need to wait until election day to cast their ballot.
If you need assistance or don’t have a computer or internet, the city says computers and election staff will be available at City Hall, during the following times:
· Thursday, Oct. 15 from 10 am to 4 pm
· Friday, Oct. 16 from 9 am to 4 pm
· Monday, Oct. 19 to Friday, Oct. 23 from 9 am to 4 pm
On Voting Day, Monday, Oct. 26, assistance will also be available from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at:
· Boart Longyear Memorial Gardens, 100 Chippewa St. W.
· WFCU Place, 1099 Lakeshore Dr.
Eligible voters who have not received a Voter Information Letter by Oct. 15, have received a letter with incorrect information, or need to update their voter information should contact the City Clerk’s Office or visit City Hall or a voter assistance location.
Residents making changes to their voter information should bring valid photo ID and proof of residence.
