Weekend fun includes Smoke ‘N’ Spurs and Powassan Fall Fair
The Smoke ‘N’ Spurs Festival and the Powassan Fall Fair are offering plenty of activities and entertainment for area residents this weekend.
Smoke ‘N’ Spurs returns to the Anderson Event Park outside Mattawa, Sept. 4-6.
Along with the rodeo, there’s wrestling, freestyle motocross, ATV mudbog, truck and tractor pull, vendors market, and more.
Friday’s concerts include Ryan Langdon and headliner Cory Marks.
Saturday features Savannah Jade, Madeline Merlo and Jason Blaine.

The Powassan Fall Fair is also on the go this weekend.
Along with the heavy horse pull, there’s the demolition derby, food vendors, live entertainment, exhibits and competitions.
Events take place Saturday and Sunday at the Powassan Fairgrounds.
